ABU DHABI - Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, attended a ceremony held by the Siraj Malayalm Daily at the National Theatre in Abu Dhabi to celebrate 41st National Day of the UAE. A book titled Zayed Al Khair in Malayalam was released at the function. Shaikh Nahyan received a copy of the book from Kerala home minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan. MA Yusuff Ali, Managing Director of Emke Group of companies which published the book, and V. T. Blalram, member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Kerala, were also present. Kanthapuram A.P. Abu Bakr Musaliyar, President of the Kerala-based Sunni Cultural Centre University, said in his speech that the National Day was an opportunity to express the deep-rooted ties of friendship between the UAE and India.
